This AXELOS, one-day ITIL Service Management Awareness course is to enable service providers to deliver key service management messages to large audiences during periods of organisational transformation or service management transition. With the correct conditions this seminar style overview course can easily accommodate up to 100 delegates. The Service Management Awareness course provides very high-level information and focuses on primary concepts and principles of the Service Lifecycle; as such it does not provide an examination. However, the accompanying delegate courseware includes comprehensive self-study materials which may help prepare individuals with high levels of ITIL awareness for the Service Management Foundation exam. It should be noted however that the purpose of this course is not to prepare delegates for certification. If this is the desired result then the Service Management Foundation course should be chosen.
